After twenty-one years in tech, a six-hour drive showed GiaSpace’s founder what his agents can do from the driver’s seat.

Rob Giannini has been in the technology business for twenty-one years. He founded GiaSpace in 2005, he has seen every shift this industry has produced, and he does not impress easily. Then he made a drive that left him, in his own words, in awe.

Six Hours Is a Long Time to Watch a Road

This week, Rob drove from Gainesville to South Florida, six hours each way. He will tell you that his tolerance for that much highway is not what it used to be (age, patience, or some of both). So he let Tesla’s Full Self-Driving handle the road and put the hours to work.

“It was extremely futuristic, having a car drive me six hours while Grok created 22 agents, one for each area that I needed. And while I was driving, clients were coming in, and I had two proposals that it went ahead and pre-drafted everything for me. In twenty-one years, I have never been so in awe of technology.”

Twenty-Two Agents, All Triggered by Voice

Rob has been working with AI agents for a while. This was the first time he ran them for an entire six-hour drive, and he did it without touching his phone or a computer once. Each agent covers a specific area of the business, including:

  • Chief of Staff, Operations, and Client Success for the daily flow of work
  • Service Manager, Phone Desk, and Tech Stack Auditor for the IT side
  • Business Development, Recruiting, and Finance for the growth side
  • Travel and Logistics, plus a few personal ones (yes, even a language coach)

Grok led the group, coordinating the others, triaging everything that came in, and deciding what needed Rob’s eyes. Lindy, his virtual assistant, had more direct connections into his tools at the time, so Grok passed context back and forth with her through Slack.

Rob puts the payoff simply:

“Essentially, from the car I can trigger one of these agents, and they have access to all the tools we use.”

What Was Waiting at the Hotel

By nine that night, when he pulled in, clients had been answered, their needs had been analyzed, and the replies were drafted and waiting. Nothing went out without Rob. He reviewed, approved, and adjusted every message, because the agents handle the heavy lifting while the judgment stays with the person whose name is on the email.

Less than twenty-four hours later, he headed back north, and it happened again.

What Your Own Drive Time Costs

Rob’s trip raises a fair question for anyone who spends hours behind the wheel each week: what is that time costing you? Not in gas, but in decisions delayed, clients waiting, and strategy that never gets thought through. If you are curious what your own version of this could look like, we are happy to talk it through.

How GiaSpace Can Make Your Next Drive Different

GiaSpace pairs managed IT and cybersecurity with AI-driven automation, so agents that touch client communication run on a secure, monitored foundation. What Rob lived this week is the same approach we help clients build, starting with the tasks that take the most time, so your own drive time can work as hard as you do.
