From Gator Grad to Marketing Powerhouse

Before GiaSpace, Gabriela was finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing (with a minor in sports management) at the University of Florida. She graduated a semester early and jumped straight into the real world. Her summer internship at a Charleston real estate company gave her the foundation, but GiaSpace is where she built the empire.

Last January, she joined the team. One year later, she’s taken ownership of the marketing agenda.

The Brand Builder Behind the Scenes

As GiaSpace’s Chief Marketing Officer, Gabriela’s day-to-day is anything but routine. She writes SEO-optimized blogs, designs graphics in Canva and Adobe, manages 7 social media profiles, builds landing pages, and creates everything from email campaigns to brand books. The workload is constant, the variety keeps it interesting, and the 100+ blogs GiaSpace published in 2025? She made that happen.

From Learning to Leading

Gabriela started at GiaSpace just one year ago. In the beginning, her role was building foundations and learning the business. Today? She’s running the marketing agenda independently. Rob trusts her to execute campaigns solo, and she’s automated the busywork so she can focus on big picture strategy.

Translation: She went from building the engine to driving the car in 12 months.

Living the Fast, Friendly, First-time Fix Mission

Gabriela’s not an IT technician, but the mission still shows up in everything she creates.

Fast means responding to what’s happening now. When AI-driven phishing spikes, she creates blogs and social posts that help clients protect themselves immediately.

Friendly shows up in every caption and blog post. She makes cybersecurity and IT strategy feel approachable; not intimidating (aka those weekly memes).

First-Time Fix means getting it right the first time. No half-baked messaging and no unclear CTAs. The marketing should solve a problem on the first read, just like the techs solve IT issues on the first call.

Looking Ahead: Bigger, Bolder, Better

Gabriela’s most excited about what’s coming next. A website redesign has been in the works for months, giving GiaSpace a fresh new look. She’s also launching a cold email marketing campaign to reach new audiences and doubling down on communication with current clients.

Her main goal for year two? Provide clients with more useful content, reach more people on social media, drive traffic through the redesigned website, and make GiaSpace’s marketing even stronger.

If year one was building the foundation, year two is about scaling what works.

Off the Clock

When Gabriela’s not crafting the perfect blog headline, you’ll find her at the beach (her happy place), playing pickleball, thrifting for hidden gems, or trying new restaurants around Tampa:

  • Hobbies: Working out, pickleball, art, trying new restaurants, thrifting, and beach days
  • Admiration: Her mom (Her biggest supporter, encourager, and best friend).

  • Favorite Food: Tacos with chips and guacamole
  • Favorite Place: The Florida Keys (or anywhere with a beach and high UV)
