Employee Spotlight: Yayati

Looking for a systems guardian who catches problems before they happen? You’ve come to the right place. Meet our Senior Systems Engineer.

From Backend Escalations to Client Facing Solutions

Before joining GiaSpace, Yayati was at Continuum as an L4 Engineer, handling backend escalations and resolving complex server issues (tasks most IT pros would rather avoid). We’re talking high pressure situations where one wrong move could take down entire systems. That experience shaped his approach to troubleshooting: methodical, thorough, and always thinking ahead.

The Technical Guardian Behind the Scenes

As GiaSpace’s Senior Systems Engineer, Yayati is the guy making sure your systems don’t just work, but they work flawlessly. He handles the technical backbone: servers, backups, automation, and cybersecurity (if it’s critical infrastructure, it’s on his radar). His superpower? Catching problems before they become problems. He’s resolving issues in the background so clients can stay secure, productive, and blissfully unaware of what could have gone catastrophically wrong.

Seven Years of Evolution

Yayati has been with GiaSpace for 7 years (that’s basically forever in tech years), and his journey shows what real growth looks like. He started exclusively on the backend, managing server and cluster issues in environments most people never see. Over time, his role expanded into direct client work, handling the full spectrum of IT challenges.

The result? A senior engineer who understands both the deep technical infrastructure AND the client experience. Every day brings different challenges, and that’s exactly how he likes it.

Living the Mission: Fast, Friendly, First Time Fix

Ask Yayati what GiaSpace’s mission means to him, and you get the most straightforward answer possible: “Respond fast, stay friendly, and make sure the problem is fixed properly the first time.”

No fluff. No buzzwords. Just three principles that actually matter. It’s the formula that works, and it’s how Yayati approaches every ticket, every project, and every challenge.

Looking Ahead: Pushing Boundaries

Yayati’s excited to tackle more advanced projects (the kind that make other engineers nervous), enhance security infrastructure for clients, and keep systems and hardware running at peak performance. With threats evolving and technology advancing, year eight is all about pushing even further.

Beyond the Server Room: Motorcycles, Beaches, and Iron Man

When Yayati’s not keeping systems running flawlessly, you’ll find him on a motorcycle, camping under the stars, or exploring beaches (his absolute favorite).

  • Childhood Dream: Pilot

  • Hobbies: Motorcycle rides, camping, traveling, and beach exploration

  • Admiration: His mom and dad (his biggest supporters through everything)

  • Unique Achievement: Rebuilt a motorcycle engine with YouTube as his guide (because why not?)

  • Favorite Superhero: Iron Man (smart, confident, and always thinking of new ways to solve problems)

  • Favorite Movie: Iron Man (sensing a theme here?)

  • Favorite Food: Paneer tikka or grilled chicken

  • Favorite Place: The beach, always the beach

Yayati brings seven years of technical excellence, problem solving prowess, and steady dedication to GiaSpace. He’s the engineer you want when things get complicated (which in IT, they always do). We’re lucky to have him keeping our systems rock solid!
